About MI Stones

We sit on the stone. That changes everything.

MI Stones is a mine-direct limestone exporter based in Nimbahera, Chittorgarh — one of the richest limestone belts in the world. Because the quarry, the cutting floor and the export desk are one operation, a buyer in Milan or Dubai deals with a single accountable team, not a chain of brokers.

10× simpler

One contract replaces the broker, the processor, the testing lab and the freight agent. That is the entire promise.

The stone — clarified

Dimensional grade, not cement-grade limestone.

Nimbahera, Chittorgarh is home to two distinct limestone seams: a high-volume industrial cement-feedstock grade and a separate, finer-grained dimensional building-stone grade. MI Stones mines exclusively the dimensional grade — the pale, low-porosity variety that takes a mirror polish, calibrates to ±0.5 mm, and holds edge detail for carved architectural work.

In international trade, this stone is described under several names: Rajasthan limestone, Chittorgarh building stone, Nimbahera stone, and Rajasthan beige limestone — all referring to the same pale, warm-toned dimensional stone MI Stones produces. It is distinct from Kota stone (a dark green-grey argillaceous limestone from nearby Kota district) and from the calcium-rich flux ore that dominates the Nimbahera mining district by industrial tonnage.

If you have sourced or specified "Rajasthan limestone" or "Indian limestone" for a project — this is likely the stone you mean.

How we work

Built to remove the middlemen.

Sourcing

Mine-direct supply

We control grade, colour consistency and tonnage at the source, so price and supply are a promise we can keep — not a market we chase.

Processing

One roof, fewer hands

Cutting, calibration, fabrication and micronising happen in-house. Fewer handoffs means lower cost and tighter tolerance.

Assurance

Certified every shipment

ASTM and EN/CE test data is issued with each order through accredited labs, so your architect signs off without a second test.

What we stand for

MI stands for mine-direct.

Two words explain the whole business — mine-direct. Every promise below follows from owning the steps between block and container.

I.

Honest grade

The sample you approve is the stone that ships. No swapped grades, no surprise veining.

II.

One price, all-in

FOB or CIF quoted clearly, with no broker layers buried inside the number.

III.

On the date promised

Lead times we can hold, because we own the steps between block and container.
